I'll be in Japan from tomorrow and plan on seeing as much as I can. I'll be using a combination of taxis and public transportation, but I also plan on hitchhiking to avoid expensive regional trains, if I can.
I haven't had much luck finding an app like blablacar that allows you to see planned trips and jump in with people heading in 'your' direction. Does this exist in Japan, or are there alternatives (Facebook page,etc).
