Hi all, hopefully this is the right place. I am a civil/maritime engineer in the UK. I have always loved the idea of moving to Japan. Especially because of the nature. I was wondering if anyone knew of job hunting sites or ways to find a job (or exchange) to love in Japan. I am currently feeling really stuck with my job. I am in a niche field (which I love) but I'm not quite chartered. I know there is a lot of offshore engineering opportunities but wondered if there is actually a market for English speakers (I do speak other languages just not Japanese).
Any information about working in Japan (engineering) would also be useful. I have heard some scary stories about drinking culture and hierarchy at work.
