Hi, I'm considering a winter trip to Lake Suwa. Does anyone know when the lake typically freezes over and recent frequency/timing of Omiwatari happening.
I've found some articles saying that it hasn't been a guaranteed thing in recent due to climate change and that it might have not happened in 2018 and happened in 2022, but nothing for other years.
Very interested in 2019-2024 data to figure out if planning a trip to see it this coming Winter would be fruitful. Thanks!
