This may not be the right place to post this but since the mattress migrated to the US from Japan sometime between 1960 – 1980, I’d thought I’d give it a shot.
I accidentally left my futon mattress outside to air out, I didn’t realize it was scheduled to rain. The dyes bled into the cover, which is fine.. that can be replaced. But the mattress looks bad.. you can see where the colors ran.
Sure I can just cover it up with another cover, but this used to be so pretty and it belonged to my Obach so there is a lot of sentimental value for me.
Could this somehow be fixed?
