Exchange student in Japan here. Just got in the mail a bunch of pay slips for national health insurance premiums??? I received like 10 slips saying that I have to pay about ¥6,000 – some with dates for after I leave as my exchange program ends in august. Is this normal to get this many at once and at this amount per month? I don’t have any income apart from my student finance I get from my home country
