Hi, I am having doubts as I was accepted into University of Tsukuba as an exchange for 5 months in the fall season. I was wondering if anyone from the UK, US or Australia have gone and what kind of differences there are in terms of living, finding friends and others or what kind of things I can do? I'm worried I'll be isolated and not find friends, or enjoy my time and I am tempted to pull out before I do flights and stuff. I need reassurance to whether it is worth it or can it and try somewhere else next year? It is worth ti to go? Is it easy to make friends and meet new people? I also don't know Japanese that well so will that be something that makes it quite isolating? I would love to know I am so nervous and just about to give up.
