Hello, I need help for buying medicine. Every day I need to take a medicine called cetirizine for my skin allergies, right now my stock is low. I don’t know where I can find this medicine, normally in my country I can ask for a pharmacy to make for me but here I don’t know if it’s possible to do that. Is there a pharmacy around here that make medications? Is there a name for this type of place?
I brought with me the prescription from my country's doctor, did I need to go to some hospital to take a Japanese one ? Where I can find a allergist in Kyoto ?

There are non-prescription meds like Contac-Z that contain Cetirizine you can get at a drugstore like Daikoku Drug, Welcia or Matsumoto Kiyoshi. Use Google Maps to find a nearby drugstore. [Allergy drug Reference](https://lifeabroad.jp/html/medical_health/allergy.html).
If you want to go to a pharmacy and get prescription meds, you have to see a doctor first.
If loratadine also works for you (they’re vey similar), then the brand name “Claritin” (クラリチン) is available relatively cheap from Amazon in bulk. Anti histamines in general seem really pricey here so I stock up when I go back home instead, it’s like 200 yen for a 28 pack or cetirizine tablets back home.
Do you have national health insurance? If you have its super cheap if not it’s going to be expensive especially if you want to go to English speaking doctor
I use レスタミンU for my skin allergy, that is sold almost drag store.
It has side effect very sleepy.
I recommend different way others say.
But I think better to inform you, you can get the med at town store, for your mind safety.
