Hello I will be an exchange student at Keio next year and I’m interested if any of you have experience studying abroad there. I have visited Japan a handful of times and taken Japanese courses up to the 200 level in my first couple years of college which has given me some basic speaking ability and vocabulary but i don’t believe I am even at an N5 level yet. I am very interested in improving my Japanese but I don’t want to do JLP if it’s gonna be too over my head and take the fun away from my travels. I also would be interested if doing KIP will still allows for opportunities to improve Japanese. Ideally I want to improve my Japanese a lot but not at the cost of not enjoying this special opportunity.
