Hello guys I would travel to Japan for first time with my SO. We aim to be there for two weeks and see the cherry blossom season at the start of april 2025. Would love an itinerary check. Any tips are welcomed
Day 1 Tokyo
• Arrive in Tokyo in the morning at Narita airport
• Around noon be near the hotel check luggage in, have lunch
• Walk around sumida river
• Wonder around Tokyo sky tree
• Senso ji at night
Day 2 Tokyo
• 8.00 AM Senso ji temple
• Stroll trough kapabashi street
• Walk around and enjoy Ueno park
• Visit Nezu shrine
• Spend time in Akihabara
• Hirose entertainment park
Day 3 Tokyo
• Imperial castle
• Ginza
• Team Lab Borderless
• Roppongi hill Mori tower is it worth spending time there ?
• Nakameguro just walk around and enjoy the moments
Day 4 Tokyo > Hakone
• Luggage forwarded to Osaka
• Tokyo > Odawara there’s a castle near by > Hakone Yumoto
• Bus to motohakone ko
• Tea house
• Tori gate
• pirate ship to togendai and catch cable car way to the top the sulphur vents and the view of Mt Fuji
• eat a black egg
• try to find and sleep in ryokan
Day 5 Hakone > Osaka
• glass forest
• open air museum
• park
• Hakone > Osaka 2h via shinkansen
• Check in hotel and spend time in Dobontori
Day 6 Osaka
• Osaka castle
• Shin seki
• Tsūtenkaku
• Nanba yasaka shrine
• Head to Kyoto
Day 7 Kyoto
• Early Fushimi Inari temple
• Imperial palace
• Heian jingo shrine
• Okazaki Shrine
Day 8 Kyoto > Arashiyama
• Bamboo forest
• Tenryu ji
• Saga toriimoto preserved street
• Arashiama main street
• Visit Kingaku – ji try to visit afternoon
• Kimono forest try to visit when is dark
Day 9 Kyoto
• Yasaka pagoda
• Kiomizudera
• Miyako Odori (each of the geisha districts in Kyoto performs a show/dance for the public once a year, this is the Gion show and is only on in April maybe we can see a performance ?
• Pontocho
Day 10 Kyoto > Nara
• Send luggage to Tokyo
• Todai – ji
• Deer park
• Kasuga Taisha
• Head to Tokyo
Day 11 Tokyo Sinjuku
• 3d cat billboard
• Godzilla head
• Shinjuku gyoen garden
• Tokyo metropolitan government building
• Hanazono shrine
• Kabukicho red light district tower
• Golden gai
Day 12 Day trip to mt Fuji
• -Bus (2 hours) from Shibuya station to Arakurayama Sengen Park/Chureito Pagoda
• -Walk (15 mins) to Hikawa Clock Shop
• -Train (25 mins) to LAWSON
• -Walk (15 mins) to Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway
• -Walk (45 mins) or Train (15 mins) to Kubota Itchiku Art Museum
• -Walk through Sakura Festival to Maple Corridor to Oishi Park
• -Train (2 hours 50 mins) back to Shibuya station
Day 13 Tokyo Shibuia
• Visit Meiji Shrine early in the morning
• Yoyogi park
• Takeshita street
• Visit the statue of Hachiko
• Shoping Harajuku and Shibuya
• Mega Don Quijote
• Check out the Shibuya Crossing / people watch from some view point
• Shibuya Sky
Day 14
• Free day and get ready to fly back home
