If you’re in Tokyo or Osaka you’d be facing some pretty solid competition in used electronics. Watches, I’m not sure. I’m not a guy so I don’t really understand the watch world, but what I have noticed is that people seem willing to spend lots on new watches to look good.
I don’t understand why you wouldn’t do it in America first. There’s literally no good reason to do it in Japan first.
It is possible if you clear relevant visa issues and apply for the license to buy and sell secondhand goods. If you couldn’t google how in Japanese, it’s probably not for you.
