So like example like ゑ (we) i know isn’t used anymore since the 40s. But it got me thinking. (I’m currently a n5 student learning preparing for my JLPT) and I enjoy older content from the 50s – 60s era (stuff like ultraman, speedracer ect) it made me wonder if there are any dialect changes that I should know about when watching this content and learning

There are some slight changes outside of slang.
Some accents have changed, generally becoming more standardized and evened out towards the Tokyo/Eastern dialect.
