IT career in Japan?

Hi everyone! I checked for a question similar to mine, but wasn't able to find much, so hopefully I could get some guidance please.

I'm a 39 year old man currently working as a Systems Administrator/Network Engineer/DevOps in Cheyenne, Wyoming, U.S.. I don't have a degree and only have my A+ cert, but currently working on my Bachelors in Cybersecurity from WGU (which will also get me my Net+ and Sec+ certifications). I've been in IT for about 20 years in a variety of these roles as well. My Japanese language skills are low, but I'm studying daily and working towards conversational fluency at the minimum.

I'm not entirely sure how to phrase this question, but I've wanted to live in Japan since I was little and I'm wondering if it's going to be possible for me to work and live in Japan doing IT work this late in my life? Also, with my experience, is it still possible without a degree? I guess I'm not entirely sure what options I have or what I need to do to make this happen. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you all!
