I am looking for a possible open work (or work exchange) opportunity for the next summer season !
I'm currently living in Yuzawa with a working holiday visa, I am actively researching an opportunity to work in Ishigaki from June to august 2024 (flexible). It may be too early to start looking but where I'm from we find summer jobs in the winter haha…
I took a year off my professional life to pursue personal projects that I hold dearly. At this time, as cooking is a true passion of mine, I am working as a cook in a restaurant in the mountains. Now, my other main objective is to find a job in a dive shop in the okinawan archipelago, mainly to work closely with professionals of this field and to be able to improve my diving skills.
I have discovered scuba and freediving a few years ago and fell in love with this whole new world opening up to me. Considering that I only have a recreational level (PADI open water diver and PADI free diver), I am primarily inquiring about positions like customer service (booking management, customer coordination), shop sales, equipment management, boat maintenance or maybe snorkeling guide if needed. Although, I remain open to any position that you think could fit my profile.
I speak French and English fluently (bilingual level) and I am currently learning Japanese. My objective is to pass the N5 exam level in July but I already have a correct understanding of greetings, basic conversation and reading. I also have a driving license with an official japanese translation and experience driving in japan ( daily commute by car ). I have good communication skills and have experience working with customers (waitering, bartending, customer technical support). Additionally, I have extensive experience in project management and educational/training content creation.
