My friend and I were in kimonos walking around Ninenzaka when an older Japanese man asked where we’re from and if he could take our picture (he had a nice camera). He took several and then offered to give us the picture for free. He put his SD/memory card in a device that plugged into our iPhone and imported the pictures.
Immediately afterwards we realized this might be a scam to hack our phones. Has this happened to anyone before? Are we over reacting?
