14-day travel to Japan – our first time on our honeymoon!

Hey there,

it's been a long time since I have started lurking the subreddit and it's now my turn to ask you some tips about the itinerary that my (future) wife and I planned. It's gonna be in mid-july, so we didn't exceed with things to see/do during the day. Nonetheless, we are afraid we're missing out something we shouldn't miss.

Both of us are fond of food: if you have any suggestion for restaurants near the attractions we're visiting, please also feel free to tell us!

day 1 (Osaka):

we'll land at 7pm, get ICOCA for me (my wife will have hers on her iPhone), get Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass, get to the hotel, rest

day 2 (Osaka):

visit Osaka's castle, Shinsekay, Tsutenkaku, Dotonbori

day 3 (Miyajima/Hiroshima):

send baggage to Kyoto's hotel

travel to Miyajima

reach Hiroshima's hotel

day 4 (Hiroshima/Kyoto):

Visit Peace Park

Travel to Kyoto's hotel

Evening walk in Fushimi Inari

day 5 (Kyoto):

Arashiyama, Monkey Park, Kinkaku-ji

Kiyomizudera and Sannenzaka

day 6 (Nara):

Nara day-visit, with Kofuku-ji, Isuien Garden, Todai-ji, Deer park, Kasuja Taisha

day 7 (Kyoto):

Ginkaku-ji, Philosopher's path, heian

Tea ceremony in the afternoon

day 8 (Kyoto):

send baggage to Tokyo's hotel

Imperial palace, Nijo Castle, Nishiki market

early afternoon –> check-in in ryokan

day 9 (Tokyo):

leave for Tokyo

visit Imperial Palace Gardens

day 10 (Tokyo):

Visit Omoide Yokocho, Meiji Jingu, Harajuku

day 11 (Tokyo):

Tsukiji market

Teamlab

day 12 (Tokyo):

Ueno ParkSensoki

Nakamise-dori Street

Tokyo Skytree

day 13 (Hakone):

Buy Hakone pass

Hakone day trip, with Lake Ashi, Hakone Shrine (trying to spot Mt. Fuji), Owakudani, Open Air Museum

day 14 (Tokyo):

wander through Tokyo, flight back home at 7.30 PM
