Amagasaki or Nishinomiya?

I’m moving to Japan at the End of the month (19,m), going to attend a language school in Kobe for 1 year and then I’ll be pursuing university here. I’m not sure where to stay though: I’d have loved to find an home in Umeda, since it’s only 25 minutes to Sannomiya, the station I need to get to since it’s the closest to school, but it’s hard to get an accommodation there, or at least that’s what I experienced while house hunting. I have though 2 nice deals, one in Nishinomiya and one In Amagasaki, and I am asking since I really don’t know the difference about life in these two, nor what they have to offer. The only thing I tried to catch was the distance from both Osaka (central) and Sannomiya stations, and for what I caught it seems both are around 15/20 minutes from the former and around 30 minutes from the latter, but I don’t know how accurate this is (I got it from google maps). Anyone who lived there/had any experiences could share them with me and help getting to a decision? The prices of both are roughly the same so I’m not worried about that, just wandering how life is in both cities, what do they offer and what not.
