I'll be going to Japan this November for a 21/22 day trip. For context, this would be my(24F) 5th visit and it would be my partner's(25M) 2nd visit in Japan. We've done most of the must-visits for tourists in our previous trips and would just like some opinions on our current itinerary.
My current itinerary is as follows:
Day 0 (17/11): Flight BNE to NRT
1 (18/11): around Tokyo station, Ginza, & quick trip to Odaiba-small worlds (to pick up a figurine I ordered from my previous trip) – we don’t really want to do much in our first day. Just want to explore
2 (19/11): Ueno – Ueno park, zoo, museum; Tokyo Dome city – for the rollercoaster and ferris wheel
3 (20/11): Odaiba – Tokyo Joypolis, Immersive fort, Gundam centre (diver city)
4 (21/11): Akihabara, Shibuya, Aoyama – clothes and random window shopping (more of a chill/free day)
5 (22/11): Yokohama (day trip) – Cup noodle, cosmo world
6 (23/11): Kamakura (day trip) – Great Buddha, koshigoe rakko park, café yoridokoro, café luonto, shichirigahama station, koshigoe station, shichirigahama beach
7 (24/11): Free day – we’ll randomly pick a city to explore this day
8 (25/11): Fuji Q Highland – was debating whether to make this a day trip or stay nearby
9 (26/11): Kawaguchi – Oishi park, Chureito Pagoda, Hoshino street
10 (27/11): Kyoto – Fushimi-Momoyama-jō Castle, glänta ring making – would like to book a ryokan
11 (28/11): Uji – visiting for their matcha, Byodoin temple, sightseeing
12 (29/11): Kyoto – Arashiyama Itsukichaya (need to reserve), temples around Arashiyama to enjoy autumn leaves, Kurama-dera, kamo river
13 (30/11): Osaka (day trip) – shinsekai, around Dotonbori to celebrate partner’s b-day
14 (1/12): Kyoto – Kōmyō-in Temple, Nishi Hongan-ji, chopsticks engraving store, L'Escamoteur
15 (2/12): Kobe – Kobe beef, window shop; Naruto park – spend a few hours here
16 (3/12): Hiroshima – Peace park, Atomic bomb Dome, Peace memorial museum, Hiroshima castle, okonomiyaki
17 (4/12): Miyajima – Itsukushima shrine, walking trails
18 (5/12): Travel back to Tokyo – was thinking of either catching a plane A$110 for 1hr15 or train for ¥19,760 for 4 hours; chill day or wherever we feel like going
19 (6/12): Disneyland – whole day here
20 (7/12): Tokyo station – food trip, Ramen alley; teamlab borderless
21 (8/12): Ghibli museum and chill day
22 (9/12): last minute donki shopping; flight is at 20:00 at NRT
