I was wondering if anyone here had experience with an exchange semester as an english speaking comp sci student?
I go to a school in Canada whose exchange partners in Japan are:
Hitotsubashi University
Keio University
Kyoto University
Sophia University
University of Tokyo
Waseda University
I was most recently looking at UTokyo and their USTEP program (catalogue of courses offered for exchange undergraduates here: https://catalog.he.u-tokyo.ac.jp/result?type=ustep&faculty_id=&q=programming).
However, when looking, there are sparingly few courses offered in Math and Programming that are taught in English.
I heard that UTokyo would have the most robust english course selection, but for my major it seems like not a lot.
I will also continue searching at other Japanese Universities, so I was wondering if anyone had a good suggestion for schools that I could look into that would fit a computer science degree.
Also, if anyone had any general suggestions/stories/tips about going on exchange, I would love to hear them.
