Help in setting up Japanese style extendable fishing rods

Hi, I have recently acquired some hand-me-down extendable (2-3m) fishing rods and reels, but not having used this type of setup before I’m confused as to how you set them up,

I’ve tried YouTube but the majority of setup tutorials are based on the takago and smaller type rods without a reel.
