Hi all, I've (English speaker) been here in Okinawa for the past week and was staying near the beach in Nago the past few days. Around 8am and 6pm and maybe other times the loudspeakers play chime sounds and then make an announcement in Japanese. What are these? Weather? Beach conditions? Totally unrelated? Just peaked my curiousity and I wasn't unable to understand the Japanese or find anything through a Google search. Thanks!
