The American owner seems absolutely crazy. At some point in time they had a "no Americans" sign up. They're posting completely unhinged responses to poor ratings, with one threatening to post photos of the reviewer's "disgusting kids". They "name and shame" people giving low ratings on Google Maps and even post photos and videos of them. The owner speaks and writes in broken Japanese but since that's more than what the average American inhabitant of Okinawa can manage, he seems to think this makes him a bona fide "shimanchu". Despite all this, the place has a 4.8 rating and over 2000 reviews. I just don't get it. Back when he was doing cajun food, OK, fine, that's a niche you're not going to find elsewhere, but why are people supporting a soup nazi for burgers, which there's a million places selling on the island!?
