My wife is Japanese and we will be moving to Japan in 10 years when our kids are a bit older. A few years ago I got a dui reduced to a negligent driving. There was no jail time no license suspension no drugs. Just a fine and community service. This will be vacated after 10 years as well. Will this cause issue for a spousal visa? We’ve been to Japan every year since then with no issues. DUI was in America not Japan.
