I know its a pretty nish question, but i travel w my gf on a kyushu trip, and until now, when i was planning Nagasaki i definitely wanted Gunkanjima as my highlight. But that was until i found of Ikishima. I dont mind renting a car and driving to the port from which ferries leave, it would prob take same time and money since the tours to Gunkanjima take time and are not cheap. The question is, what would be cooler? We wont have time for both sadly, and both seem extreme (in a positive way ofc) places which we’ll probably never experience a similar thing to.
