Hi everyone, I'm writing this right after receiving the application documents and more anxious than ever.
To make a long story short, I'm 28 years old, graduated from french high school 9 years ago, and since then I got into 3 different uni courses I dropped out of because I was looking for myself and didn't know what to do with my life. I did odd jobs here and there, took care of a sick relative, and for a year I've been employed at a sort of hostel, but a very fancy one.
I really, really want to get into KICL. My plan is to pass the JLPT N2 or N1 (currently I'm between N4 and N3, curiously since I'm self taught I got better at reading than speaking), and then get into a vocational school to learn ceramics in Kyoto.
But seeing the admission requirements.. I'm scared I might not get in due to my educational background. What do you think? Do I have any chance at all?
Edit: forgot to mention I have the financial means to go through with it, and my mother is willing to support me if needed.
