Watch out for these guys.
I had three interviews with them.
Interview 1: Bog standard useless Japanese interview with questions such as "Why did you come to Japan?", "What are your hobbies?", and "When do you plan to leave Japan?"
Interview 2: Demo lesson with French teacher observing. He badmouthed his former company, Kids Duo. He commented that my lesson should be more enthusiastic without once even smiling at the kids I was teaching.
Interview 3: Japanese area manager spent the entire time complaining about her foreign ex-husband and Kids Duo where she used to work.
Job offer: 250,000/mo
I countered with 300,000/mo which is the max negotiable according to their post on Gaijinpot and got ghosted.
That was two months ago.
In short, stay clear from H-Cube Academy.
TLDR: H-Cube Academy is bad.
