I’m a first JET who’s recontracted for a second year, but I’m thinking I don’t want to do it anymore.
I have a few questions if anyone would be kind enough to answer:
Visa wise, does it run out when I quit? Or is there a grace period of some kind. I would love to do some travelling before I leave.
My bank account doesn’t allow transfers, just cash withdrawals. Is there a way to convert this before I leave? (I am from the UK). I am afraid it might be a bit dodgy trying to take so much cash at once haha.
Will there be any kind of tax issues? I’ve heard some people get slapped with tax at the end of their year/contract and would hate to leave anything unpaid when I leave.
