Does anyone have experience buying Japanese Language Learning Books from Amazon Japan?

I am trying to buy the [Quartet – Intermediate Japanese](https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/%E5%AE%89%E4%BA%95-%E6%9C%B1%E7%BE%8E/dp/4789016951/ref=sr_1_1?crid=32RWHBQYAN7N) series books from Amazon Japan, because with the JPY being currently weak right now, and even with the shipping fees and import fees baked in, they still manage to be way cheaper than buying them from Amazon Canada.

I have a benefit from my work where we can purchase books and learning materials and get them reimbursed, but I have to provide an invoice to do so. I’m just worried that if I buy from Amazon Japan, the invoice would display the item names in Japanese, even if I buy the English edition of the books. Does anyone know if invoices from Amazon Japan display the item names in English or Japanese? Thanks!

  1. if you paid for it and are able to provide a receipt why would it matter? if anything talk to hr to see if it’s going to be a problem.

  2. The invoice from [amazon.co.jp](https://amazon.co.jp) will be in Japanese (depending on the country it may be allowed to provide invoices in foreign languages, consult the accounting department at your company).

The item’s name will be the same as displayed on a product page (if it’s in English it will be in English on the invoice).

  3. I don’t know how it works in Canada, but when ordering to the US shipping gets cheaper the more you bundle. For example when I placed a recent order every item I looked at said shipping was 2100 円but when I ordered five items together shipping only totaled 4500 円, not 10500 円.
