Hey everyone! I just found a wonderful YouTube channel for people wanting to improve their Japanese listening comprehension! They make videos using Peppa Pig episodes with a “beginner” option (English, Japanese, and romaji subtitles) and an “advanced” option (furigana subtitles). This is such a useful resource and I would highly recommend to any beginner who struggles with listening comprehension!!!

Hi, small question. I understand 湊 is supposed to be a unisex name in Japanese? Is there any difference in pronunciation, writing, or usage when using it for a girl vs a boy? Or is it just like the English “Alex”? Thanks.
What’s the polite way to say “okay” on the phone? Do people say かしこまりました? Is そうですね too informal?
