It's my first time here and I have a bunch of questions.
First some background: I'm getting married this month to my partner who has a Highly skilled professional visa in Japan. I'm currently on a student visa in Japan.
As I'm on a student visa and currently have a residence card, do I need to apply for a Coe? This has been stated as a requirement in many resources and I'm confused.
How long does it take to process the spousal visa, I've read that it takes 5-10 days. Is that still correct ? Is that applicable if I have the residence card but no COE?
We're going to get married in Denmark, will this affect the visa proceedings in any way?
My residence card is expiring in October **(2 months from now) will that stop me from entering Japan? (I'm currently in Europe.) Will it affect the spousal application at all?
I read on reddit that the length of your marriage is also considered. Will our marriage just being finalized affect my spousal visa application?
My spouse states that as I need to submit a change of residence application. I won't need a Coe and things will be alright, but as I'm a worry wart I just wanted to double check with you experienced people!
