I know there are many resources already in this sub, but I think my situation is different.
I currently use a phone plan in the US, and the international plans through them are far too expensive for what I need. Phone is unlocked and can support a physical sim card.
I will be in Japan for 2 months, then Europe for 4 months, without returning to the US in-between. I am not concerned with call/text, as WhatsApp will work just fine for me. Unlimited data would be ideal.
Can anyone recommend a good option for a phone plan? I was thinking I could just get a new sim card for Japan, and then a different one for Europe, but it would be easier to just get one eSim that works in both locations.
