Changes to Life in Japan over the past ten years

What changes (good ones and bad ones in your opinion) have stood out the most to you over the past ten years living in japan. Can be general changes or changes specific to life as a foreigner

Edit: looking at the comments, I see that there was a similar question posed recently. I am an infrequent user and honestly had no idea. People have accused me of “karma farming” but if u look at my profile you can see I barely post or comment on anything nowadays, and have not for months (hardly what you’d expect from a karma farmer I would think). I am sorry, though, for failing to have noticed the similar post a week ago. I am barely ever on here but I could have checked before posting. That said, not going to delete out of respect for the people who took time to answer the question
