Any Tokyo wards to avoid?

I will be doing a 1 year working holiday VISA in Tokyo.

Are there any areas that foreigners are usually advised to avoid?

All posts I’ve seen about people’s opinions on where they stayed are quite positive “I lived in xyz and loved it” and I am yet to see one different

I understand that places more central will cost more to rent and may be more populated and I won’t be looking to stay anywhere central anyway.

Anyone had any negative experiences as a whole in specific wards?
