Does anyone know a website that has mangas or any type of books that are completely in Japanese?

I’m not old enough to have a credit card so I’d appreciate if there were any free ones out there.

  1. Tachiyomi might have a Japanese option and contains pretty much every manga I have ever searched for.

  2. I collect links to free Japanese reading ressources by JLPT level [here](http://dokushoclub.com/free-reading-resources/).

I’ve so far gathered free sites for graded readers, blogs and news sites, manga, fairy tales, picture books, short stories and novels. There’s a lot out there to read without spending any money at all!

Also, if you’re in the US you can use the Japan Foundation’s digital library for Japanese e-books! You can check that out [here](https://www.jflalc.org/libby).

  3. https://shonenjumpplus.com has a lot of stuff. Sometime you can find the full collection of Naruto or currently running WSJ series but it’s hit or miss. The WSJ stuff has furigana usually while the Jump+ stuff often doesn’t.

  4. [Tadoku](https://tadoku.org/japanese/en/free-books-en/) is one of the resources I like. It has a bunch of free books that you can sort by reading level, the lower level ones include furigana as well. The books aren’t the most interesting things in the world if I’m being honest, but if you’re looking for raw reading material that is in Japanese, it’s a good resource.

  5. This may not be what you’re looking for, but it’s relatively easy to make a Japanese apple account and you can get access to all the Japanese apps. It’s really handy for finding resources. I’m primarily an Android user, but have an iPad that I use. There is a way to do it with Android but I’m pretty sure you have to use a VPN to fake your location idk.

  6. I use Japanese bookstore and manga republic websites. Fast and friendly, decent ship times. Always been happy with them so far.

  7. You can purchase manga in Japanese if you go to the Bookwalker’s Japanese site. I’ve bought a couple of volumes myself.

  8. you might check your local library if you want physical, too. personally I find reading books hard to focus on digitally and need a solid book to read. it’s also more sustainable on the author side than pirating, since the amount of times a book is loaned out can affect them. if your library has an online site, you can even preemtively check there under “Japanese language” or wherever the books written in Japanese are kept.

  9. Tachiyomi has a shit ton of manga from raw sources.

EDIT: Tachiyomi is an app you asked for a site. Sorry

  10. Legally, get a vpn and try to go on line manga, or I think webtoon can be switched to Japanese, not too sure though

  11. bookwalker.jp – there reader is kinda crap tho, particularly on desktop, but they have alternating free content and promotions. Note: make sure it doesn’t redirect you to the global site, if you wanna search for stuff
