Hello. I am just curious as to how long it takes on average for a working holiday visa to be processed? I have booked a flight to Japan for June 11th and I have yet to submit my working holiday visa. I plan to submit it to the embassy on May 10th which would give the embassy about 20 working days to process the application. Is this too short of a time frame to submit my application? The embassy page for New Zealand says it will take at least 10 working days. I can change my flight date for $80 NZD but I'd rather not do that

Well, you already broke the first rule of international travel: Don’t book your flight until you have the necessary visas.
If you don’t want to change your flight you should absolutely be allocating more time.
