Hey everyone,
I could use some advice on my upcoming trip to Japan. Here’s my itinerary so far:
Tokyo: September 2-8
Snow Monkey Park: September 9
Kanazawa & Shirakawago: September 9-11
Kyoto: September 11-15 (with a day trip to Nara)
Osaka: September 15-19
Everything is planned out until my time in Osaka. Here’s where things get tricky: I have tickets for Ghibli Park on September 19th at 10 AM, and I want to be in Hakone as early as possible on September 20th to maximize my time there (I’ll be staying in Hakone for the 20th and 21st). After Hakone, I’m heading back to Tokyo for September 21st 23rd.
I’m trying to figure out the best way to manage my travel. Here are the options I’m considering:
A. Stay in Osaka on the 18th, leave super early on the 19th for Ghibli Park, and then travel to Hakone at night after the park.
B. Leave Osaka at night on the 18th, stay in Nagoya, go to Ghibli Park on the 19th, and then head to Hakone at night.
C. Leave Osaka at night on the 18th, stay in Nagoya, go to Ghibli Park on the 19th, stay in Nagoya again, and then head to Hakone super early on the 20th.
I know I’ll need to travel back to Nagoya after Ghibli Park to get to Hakone, so I’m just trying to figure out the best plan to make the most of my time in Hakone. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
