If Mox retains(don't think so) I am guessing they are gonna go with Umino winning and getting the belt as the coronation of the face of this era. I don't think Mox is winning tho
If Naito wins the belt, I don't think he is winning the G1 too so I don't know what's the plan there. Maybe they can have Sanada win in a failed attempt to get him over.B

There is genuinely zero chance Ishii makes the cut. At best he’ll be in the qualifier. They’ll give his spot to either Yano, or (if they’re smart), KENTA. The night off kind of wrestler. Or because Gedo hates us, he’ll give it to Chase Owens.
Goto and YOSHI-HASHI’s participation is also questionable. I can see Goto making it but YOSHI-HASHI has been cut before. I think TJP is taking his spot. Or maybe a mystery guest wrestler.
One of the younger guys is going to win. Uemura is blatantly not ready so probably Umino or Tsuji. If it’s Naito holding the belt, probably Umino. If they give it to fucking SANADA of all people, this company deserves everything bad that happens to it.
Assuming Naito gets the belt back at FD, I’m still on the Hiromu train. I think he’s pinning Oleg or Yano on the 16th, which will be reasoning to put him in the qualifier tourney.
If he’s not doing that his Dome options are quite limited: either yet another vs Despe or multiman Junior title match, or at best a NEVER Openweight title match. I guess they could also finally do the Los Dos Junior tag title run, too.
