Hi everyone! One of my dear friends, has been accepted for an exchange program for 4-6 months at Kyoto University, but she just got her housing application back today and she was rejected for 6 out of 6 of the university housings.
I was doing the same program back in 2019 (pre covid) and got in to Yoshida international house. She came and visited and had a great experience, so she wanted to do an exchange as well. However, since I got in to Yoshida, I didn't have to search for any where to live, so I don't really have experience in that field. I know that some of the international students found an apartment, but it vas quite difficult.
So now I'm asking for your help. So you have any recommendations? Any resources or sites where she can find somewhere to live.
