I’m going to my home country for a month soon and I was wondering if I’ll be able to transfer money from my yucho bank account to another Japanese bank (SMBC). Both accounts are in my name.
I have the ゆうちょ認識 app installed and use it all the time while inside Japan with no issues, but I have some payments to make before I come back and will need the money I will receive before I’m back in Japan for that, so I’ll need to make the transfers between Yucho and SMBC while being present overseas. As far as I’m aware, Yucho doesn’t send any codes via SMS, but in case it matters I will have access to my Japanese SIM card (roaming)
Did anyone have the same experience? I think of using VPN just in case, but I wonder if anyone did the same without using one, or perhaps had issues even with VPN connected.
