Basically their systems are too old and they are never going to fix them.
After trying everything in the world for Anypass to make a deposit into my bank, I finally used my middle name as my first and then shoved my last/first name together.

This deposit was accepted. I'm free. I'm finally free.
The bank has my name correct in their system but the automatic validation systems when making deposits from 3rd parties are broken. They use image recognition and it assumes the name incorrectly when reading IDs. For systems that use string inputs, they are coded incorrectly and simple assume the last word in the string is the sur name. Iv had japanese people call me by my middle name as well when they look at my ID, so it's a reasonable error I guess.
Fyi this works for Mercari ID verification as well now.
I tried the normal way with first+middle. It was always refuseses by older systems like Mericari.
