i will be on a long leave from my work in Japan, and would like to try for new opportunities and new challenge in my home country as I have only worked in Japan.
would like to proceed for interview for A* company in home country but they do extensive background check for past employment.
i didnt quit my japan job, just on long leave. at what extent will japanese company reveal my info? Will the even give out my information? Heard that they are quite strict with personal info. And does this count as breaking the law even when I dont earn in Japan?
