I've heard that tap water is usually safe to drink, but my apartment is quite old (built in 1988), and it just makes me a bit uncomfortable.
My question is, is tap water in older apartments drinkable? Should I trust the pipes? I've heard that in my teacher's apartment, they have a large water tank that helps keep the water clean. However, I'm unsure if we have a similar tank in my apartment.
