I'm planning a 6-day trip to Kyoto and Osaka in November and I'm considering purchasing the Kansai Area Pass. My itinerary includes visits to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Arashiyama. From what I understand, the pass covers not only the Haruka express train to and from the airport, but also buses and trains within Kyoto, as well as travel to Arashiyama and Nara. Can anyone share their experience with this pass and let me know if it's worth it?
