I'm going to be moving to Kyoto soon for study for 4 years+, and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for good English speaking doctors/surgeons specifically in Kyoto.. Just in case I might need it.
Lemme explain. So I had appendicitis earlier this year and was treated with antibiotics, so I had no operation. But there is a chance that it may come back again and if it does it could truly be life threatening and I would 100% need it removed. So just in case something like that happens, I want to have the peace of mind that I know a good surgeon that won't skimp on pain medication etc (I've heard Japanese doctors do this, horror story from my friend who got a foot operation). I don't know if there is such a doctor, but I would appreciate any pieces of advice or personal experiences with surgery in Kyoto/Japan.
