Stuff to do at midnight on New Year’s Eve?

I have no plan yet for NYE. I went to hatsumode a previous year at Sumiyoshi Taisha and it's great but way too crowded.

Do you know any temple with a lot of stalls outside but not as crowded ? Or a completely different thing to do ?
