I went for a z-card collection today, and i swear, the office was as packed as a Tokyo subway car during knock off time.
I collected a ticket and waited 3 hours, in an under airconditioned, neglected waiting room, with people flowing out into the street and a parking lot that's so jam packed people were double parking.
As i understand it, they do have a website/app for re-apps, but it's a bloody headache and I felt they're just pushing it out to say they're trying.
It's kind of messed up that me and my wife can walk into the city hall nearby and see an army of hundreds of govt drones with multiple floors of reception desks with wait times of 5 mins, but you walk into a immigration office and it's a total soul destroying beuroco-jam full of stressed out immigrants.
Is it just a govmt budgeting thing or is this like a rite of passage they want us all to go through to prove our loyalty to the glorious land of the rising sun. And are immi officers just as annoyed as us?
