I'm trying to plan a one day trip to the aquarium, leaving from central naha via bus.
Initially I thought I'd take bus 117 from Asahibashi station – then just take the same back later that day.
But I just read a travellog by someone who said he took the Airport Shuttle Bus to the aquarium, and from what he said it sounds like it was only 4 stops, as compared to many more stops on 117. That makes me think perhaps the shuttle bus is probably a better option, and gets there faster? – as it looks like on bus 117, the trip will take anywhere from 2 – 2 1/2 hours.
Does anyone happen to know the differences between these two bus options? Also, I can't tell from the timetable if the shuttle bus stops at Asahibashi station – does it, or would I need to catch it somewhere else? I will be staying near the prefectural office.
