Hi everyone! My husband and I will be moving to Tokyo in less than two weeks, and we've narrowed our rental searches to Arakawa after our real estate agent suggested it (decent location to my work, mansion types, good space all within our current budget).
Most of my favorite listings so far are all very close to the Sakura Tram stations. If anyone has experience with using those lines, I would love to hear your experience in using it.
We will also be renting a bnb in that area for 3 weeks to get a feel of the space, but I'd love to hear experiences from people who have lived there for a longer while. We visited the area briefly with my family last year when we went to yanaka ginza, and it seemed like a nice peaceful residential area.
I've also done a bit of searching and found out they have a skate school and park not too far away too, so I'm cautiously excited! We're not a very exciting couple–our idea of a good time is finding some nice hidden restaurants and going grocery shopping, so I don't think we're too hard to please.
