Dear Reddit,
Hope you are well. Yeah, me and my79 year old mom, mostly in a wheelchair, went to the big honkin' aquarium today, could rent a car but waaaaaay prefer public transportation, and she's become anti-ferry after taking the A-Line from Kagoshima, so smaller islands are out. Thinking the glass making joints are something she'd enjoy, but no beaches this time of year, ne? We've got a couple of more nights on the main island, any advice from local types here? Arigatou!
