Hello, I am half japanese. i have a my number card that I carry with me. I have had the unfortunate experienced of getting stopped by cops, and being body searched ( even when I was a minor, and i told the police that i was a minor ) multiple times. My American friend who speaks japanese perfectly told me that you can just refuse to be searched and the cops will eventually give up. Is this true? I am really sick of it. Am i allowed to record while getting stopped for no reason? Also i will give them my mynumber card if they ask for it, but can i refuse my other belongings to be searched? like my bag, or pockets, or my entire body? I dont care if they are persistent about it.
