2. Title is inaccurate and fear-mongering. Crematoriums in Saitama can handle 1100/month, and have averaged 1000/month during peak times in past years. With the 7th COVID wave, they reached over 1000, up from the average of 900…which is still within capacity.

   work in Japanese graves, to dig out the bodies of people who have no families or for lineages that have no money to care for their ancestors.
